I thought the road trip discussion was going on in the "Flyers Schedule" thread. I assumed this was more about getting a group to go to a game here.

I thought the same thing. I'm interested in this, but I would need to know when as my work scedule would only allow for a Friday or Saturday game.

Maybe start an official FMB road trip thread along with a home game thread? we gotta get something going im definatly up for it

Flyers rarely play on Fridays at home. Like 2 or 3 at year. Haven't really gone over the scheule for this upcoming season yet. But Sat. will probably be best for a lot of people. I am good for any home game.

i'd be down for a home game or traveling to a near-by away game at MSG or down to DC or something. the idea of flying to a game would have to be over like winter break for the college kid and isn't very easy to do if you don't have a good job (like college kids and the younger members of the board).

I'm totally for this. I hope it's a home game. I don't know where to begin to organize something like this. My Wife used to own a BBS. Thats Bulletin Board System for those who have no idea what a BBS is. You log on and chat and theres forums and games and such. Kind of like the FMB. We had regular get togathers at a bar in the area but we did it almost every weekend. We had a pretty good showing too. Organizeing a FMB Get togather sounds easy but different folks want to do different things and theres no one individual saying okey this is what we are doing. So thats where the difficulty lies. My vote is for a home game at the Wachovia Center on a Saturday. I was talking with Moose Dupont in the Miscellaneous section about this and agree a Saturday afternoon home game would be the best bet. Now how do we get the hundred other folks to agree to this?
