meh, I've got the thing on my DVR, so I've been watching bits and pieces of it all summer.

Ironically, CSN-DC did replay Game 7 a month or so ago as part of its "Season to Remember" tribute to the Caps. I thought it was a bit odd for them to include their own elimination game but enjoyed watching it nonetheless.

That game had me nervous as all get out. Only other times I had been that nervous about a game was OT in Game 5 of the 2006 Finals (frackin Pisani) and the entire day of Game 7 of the 2006 Finals... I vividly remember watching the puck rebound off Huet and seeing Lupul there waiting for it, and remember thinking the next split second seemed like it lasted an eternity. I jumped so high when he scored, I almost hit my head on the ceiling... Definitely one of the best games I've ever watched, thats for sure.

I was nervous too. Had work the next day and it was about a 3am finish for me.

I agree, seeing Lupes pouncing on that puck did seem an enternity. Even my dad coming home from the late shift in work was into the game too, and seeing him throw the stick up into the hair after scoring still gives me the chills!!

That deleted who threw the bottle at Carter during the interview at the end should be banned for life!!

Just checked my channel guide and next Monday (7/21) game 1 vs. the Caps is on at 7:00pm.

The NHL Network is replaying every playoff series from this past year. They started awhile back with the Wings/Predators series from Round 1. Flyers/Caps is finally up next week, last series from Round 1 and then they'll start with Round 2. Perfect opportunity to DVR every game/victory from the great run they gave us.

It really is a great network...especially watching the old games where no one is wearing a helmet and the goalies just have the plastic face masks.
