OK, I just whipped up something quickly as a piece of concept art. It's how I envision the Vintage Jerseys in an RBK Edge style jersey. What do you think? (Yes, I know the logo and stuff are missing!!!)

I love the white stripe.

I actually like darks at home. It shows off the team colors in their own arena. I think it makes more sense.

If they do bring back the vintage 70's jerseys, that would be sweet.

does anybody remember those blue jerseys they were selling about ten years ago? i wanted one just to have but never got around to getting it. and also does anybody remember if they ever worn them in a game? to this day i still dont understand why they were even released...

I hope so, it's wrong not being able to see flyers that are mostly orange. Pens are gonna have some blue next year too. i love those powder blue jerseys.

I liked that logo that they used in the 90's. The blue jerseys from the Winter Classic aren't bad, but Buffalo's were great.

If they don't bring back the vintage then I want the old Orange away jerseys (Not the metallic).

I love these old uniforms. These were their origanal away jersey's. Opposing teams saw these and wet themselves. Opposing fans saw them and remained silent for fear the Flyers might come into the stands and beat the snot out of them.

See, this is what I always thought, too. It seems like since the lockout, though, this has changed to a more football-esque Dark-at-Home, White-away, scheme.

I agree with what someone else mentioned about it making more sense to show off the colors at home, but I still can't help but feel like you're right with the white jerseys at home being a hockey tradition as well. It just seems that its a hockey tradition that is dying/dead.

I think the sound of the 3rd Flyers jersey sounds classic,
the orange without a doubt will look great,
but from what people are saying, the Oilers third jersey should be phenomenal

The Oilers deserve it... 80's era, right? IMHO they got stuck with one of the worst jerseys in the NHL this year! Hopefully the 3rds for the NHL in 2009 won't be variations of the cookie cutter templates we saw this year.

Yeah blood orange is actually my favourite colour and not seeing the old blood orange jerseys sucked but if they bring them back I'll be able to see them once in a while!

It might be cool for like one special occasion just seeing those would be a cool old-shool affect but having wearing them normally would be kinda weird espiecially cause flyer newbies like me haven't memorized all the numbers wouldn't know who the heck was out in the shootout or even scoring!

Nah.Watching a lot of other teams wearing white when they are home is just real confusing cause like your used to dark home jerseys so then you think the home team is away!

I'm totally with you on that one amigo!Like probably 3 quarters of teams have a big portion of their jerseys black.It really was getting to the point where I wanted that black changed to any other color even pink!So having orange will be really cool and it'll be a way to spice up our jerseys a bit!

Sweet!Picturing that on a jersey is just awesome and its got a almost punk look to it which hardcore biker look much makes Phillie even more intimidating and scares the socks off of opposing teams!

The Ducks had a 4th jersey before. It was their alternates in two colors (home and away)
