Why not? Lindros was easily the best player in the league during his prime, and would've been one of the best ever if he didn't have injury problems. No player has every come into the NHL with the skill set and size that Lindros had. They guy could score, pass, shoot, hit, and fight. He was as complete a hockey player there ever was IMO.

Switch Eric Lindros with Mario Lemieux in that staement, and it's a lot more truthful. Exceot that 'one of the best' changes to 'the best'

Since when did Lemieux hit and fight on a regular basis? Never. Lemieux had 1 fight his whole career and was never a physical force. He's a great player, top 3 imo, but doesn't fit into what I described about Lindros.

That is all he is good for. That or laying on the ice unconscious during intermissions and getting scooped off the ice by the delta dental ice girls. lol.
