It got moved for traffic reasons. Sunday will be a fun filled day at the Sports Complex. Eagles 1pm, as you know the lot will be a mess from tailgaters and such. The Who concert is at the Center at 730pm and game 4 as well. The parking lot business will cash in, big time next weekend.

Eh, it's only important for those that actually go to Hockey games so it wouldn't apply to too many folks here ...

Wait, but isn't the first 2 games on the road for the Phils? So you would go to either Boston or Tampa Bay?

Can't really complain too much about this. Gonna miss one game one way or the other with work and school, and at this point the Phillies are more entertaining anyway

Maybe to find World Series tickets.

As a preview to the Flyers-Phillies doubleheader Saturday Comcast-Spectacor will host a free block party from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Wachovia Center, featuring live music, barbecue food specials and interactive games. The Center will open its doors at 2:30 p.m. for the rescheduled 4 p.m. faceoff against the New Jersey Devils. The Flyers will be distributing dual rally towels -- Flyers on one side and Phillies on the other -- and they'll keep the Wachovia Center AT&T Pavilion open well after the game for fans wanting to watch Game 3 of the World Series. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan on giving themselves extra time getting in and out of the parking lots.
That's really awesome of the Flyers! That;s why they are the best organization.

talking to a friend last night after i got ack from the game, he asked if they show phillies stuff during the game, which they do. he then told me that one of the games against the brewers was on a sunday, during a home eagles game. the eagles decided not to show anything of the phillies clincher against the brewers. most people seem to agree that tehy dont show it becasue they are worried about not being the #1 sport in the city. i was pretty surprised at the eagles for doing something like this. for not doing something so simple as showing a 15 second highlight for another philly sports team in the playoffs. the flyers and phillies seem to have a major support for one another. even making the locker room vids of flyers giving the phillies luck in the upscoming world series. a handful of flyers players have rented out a box for a philies playoff game, and the same goes for some phillies players for a flyers playoff game.

ESPN the Magazine recently did a listing of which sport ruled each major league city. It had Philly as a Phillies town over the Eagles, mostly because Lurie is really a Boston guy who would flee north at a moment's notice. Maybe Lurie is bitter over this, or perhaps he's just an ***.

I hope so. They haven't updated the listings yet. I have a feeling they'll stick a different game on.
EDIT: I had the date wrong, it's tonights game that is on and the moved game isn't on tv here. Phew.

If you're referring to NASN Dave, it's unlikely. The World Series game goes on to 10pm, I believe. Not got the TV on at the moment though, so I don't know how close they are to finishing.

I thought 4pm was an odd time to have a game on a weekday! That and there's no World Series game today.

Me too

I was up late watching the Sharks game the other night, last night I didn't get back from football in Birmingham until 12.30am, and now a late one again tonight. Add on a funeral this morning and work = SHATTERED!
