Full Version: ATTENTION ALL BOARD MEMBERS! NEW YEARS EVE GAME
Philadelphia Flyers > Forum > General Flyers Discussion

Well as usual I waited too long to purchase my tickets for the only game within driving distance. The "Ticketbastard" website never posted the on-sale date! I hear the game SOLD OUT in less than 24 hours! Before I get violated on Flea-bay, I am hoping that a fellow Flyers Board member has at least one pair of Lower Level tickets for sale. I am not interested in Upper level nose bleed seats please. I will buy up to 4 tickets if the price is reasonable. Please PM your contact info if you have these.

Been there, but stub-hub and gay-bay have rather insane pricing. I personally don't mind making a profit but tripling or quadrupling the tickets face value is criminal. Scalpers are scum sucking douche bags.

might have better luck on the canucks' message board...............

I actually posted there first cool.gif I was turned onto a very nice hotel within walking distance from the Arena. They sold me 2 decent lower level tickets with a 2 night hotel stay for approx $500.00usd Not a bad deal considering just 2 lower level tickets are selling for 500-600usd on Fleabay and Craigslist. flyers Hockey and New years Eve in Downtown Vancouver, should be a blast laugh.gif

I can do that, I just want things to see not really physical activities, I'll be with my dad and his friends, who drink on many occasions. Do you really want them on a slope? BAD IDEA!

Seriously, Oregonist (sorry if I spelled it wrong) any suggestions?
Mr. Bartender
hey. i am in california now and am trying to go to all three as well richie for cap. i have a connection in LA...actually a couple of them...i tailgated with one guy from LA at the eagles game last week in san fran and i got his number. my girlfriends sister lives there as well, so we are definately trying to get to LA. my best friend from high school lives in seattle which is only about an hour over the boarder i believe...maybe more if it is snowing, but that is a definate possibility as well. oregonian...you are definately right...flyers in vancouver and new years eve the next day...what a party. let me know what you come up with. also, you might try craigslist a little closer to gameday...the prices might go down...i got those eagles san fran tickets a week before on the 35 yd line for below face value. you just have to do your homework. what was the deal at the hotel you contacted BTW???

I'm in the same boat. I live in BC, don't have tix yet for the Dec 30 game, and am waiting patiently. Last year was SPECTACULAR, with the Flyers winning 8-2 1 day before by birthday. Absolutely phenomenal. There's a TONNE to do in Van. I'm originally from Winnipeg, and for me, living and working in the Greater Vancouver area is the BEST decision I've ever made. Been a Flyers fan since I was very small (10 yrs old, and I'm 34 now).

TIM KERR RULES! I also hope to get lower bowl for this one, SEE YOU THERE!!
