Shout outs to the practice crew

Sami it was very nice to make your acquaintance today.

On the Phantoms side they did some type of testing today. It looked like the type of things I have seen them do as part of Physicals. The players that were on this side going through things were mostly Phantoms players.

The Flyers side of the ice hosted a double feature.
First we had the Phantoms
Teslak, Munroe, Powe, Matsumoto, Ross, DeSantis, Clackson, 2 guys that I am not sure of their Identities.

They played 3 on 3 IT was very light hearted 3 on 3 but still highly competitive.

Then came the Finnish D corps from the Flyers Timonen, Kukkonen and Vaanen. They showed the Phantoms a thing or 3.

A quick round of the Zamboni and the Flyers came out.

Richards, Upshall, Carter, Eminger, Syret, Knuble, Biron, Duchesne, Briere, Coburn, and Gagne.


Marty Biron was very clearly running things for the Flyers while they were doing drills.

Then it went to a 3 on 3 game where the team for 3 on 3 would rotate based on who scored the last goal. The team not scoring being taken out. The teams here were Orange, black and hockey's version of skins ie no jersey.

The no Jersey team of Upshall, Carter and Knuble were very dominant in this environment.

Here are the pictures that I took. It was very nice to see the Flyboys back on the ice. They looked good today. I am excited for on ice rookie camp that starts on Monday.

They have been skating every week day for the last 2 weeks @ 8:30 am.

Word gets around then I get emails about why haven't I been there and taken pictures.

Monday 10 am is rookie camp.

That's great to see. I think I'll try and get up there on Monday.

I am going to owe my soul to my boss to change my schedule for monday, but that is the risk i'm going to take. dube is coming with me!!

Wow that was good. Did anybody else feel like a junkie getting a little fix to hold you over for the next week and a half while you were flipping through that, or was that just me?

its looks like briere's meeting with the nikebauer rep went well. haha. hes one of easton's main guys. also, i don't know if any one else caught the name on his gloves... c. giroux. what a pal he is.

add me to the junkie category. i went through the slide show twice.
