laugh.gif Savard isn't even on the Thrashers any more.

I know 2 of these these are old proposals what I didn't mention that? Jason Arnott doesn't play for the stars either.

Listen to these 3 trade proposals by Maple Leafs fans. These are real proposals:

To Edmonton:
Tomas Kaberle

To Toronto:
Tom Gilbert
Joni Pitkanen
Andrew Cogliano
Sam Gagner
Robert Nilsson
1st round draft pick

If you know the quality of players you'd laugh. Here's where it gets really crazy:

To Toronto:
Mike Modano
Jason Arnott

To Dallas:
Darcy Tucker
1st round pick

And the worst trade proposal ever.........

To Toronto:
Marc Savard

To Atlanta:
Travis Green

whoever thought these up should be shot

I don't think the Canucks deal is thaaaat bad. I mean, I wouldn't do it from a Flyers perspective, but from what I've seen on Center Ice, Edler and Raymond are already great players, and they also have great potential. I'd say Edler and Coburn are a wash, while Carter is further along than Raymond. So yeah, to sum things up, I wouldn't do it either, but I don't think it's as bad as some of you are making it out to be.

I guess it's just that there's no need to make a deal that does nothing to improve the team. And there's a lot of Coburn love on this board. We stole him and that makes people happy.

I see a lot of Canuck games since I live in Vancouver. Edler is a good defenceman and Vancouver won't trade him. Raymond well I dunno, sure he's a fast skater but he coughs up the puck too much, and Giroux, JVR are way better than him.

So Coburn >> Edler.

Have you read any of our Bouwmeester threads?

That is too much skill and youth for Kaberle. He has at max 4 good years left. He is solid don't get me wrong but too much youth gets traded for aging players.

Krajicek is a very good defenseman, who can also go forward. He's a little undersized for his frame though and is getting beat around in the NHL. If he bulks up and retains his abilities, he's definitely a solid 3-4 dman, possibly top 2 (though not on this team). He could be similar to Coburn if he had the size.

Pyatt has good size, but is pretty much a less hitting, less scoring version of Hartnell. He'll be a third liner for a while, then a fourth liner.

You've listed all the positives about Krajicek but god, their are a bunch of negatives too. 1stly, he can't keeps his own space on the ice so unless you want to see him gone for most of the season don't use him as a forward! 2ndly, even with size Lukas doesn't desere a top four spot on any teams defense. He isn't worth it and I see him taking away talent if you give him top pair time. Lukas has been on the bottom lines of defense so I say this to any team, keep him there!

Oh and Pyatt is better than you think. He can hit very nicely, he can get in those hard - to - get places and he's very good at chipping in, in front of the net. Like Pyatt could end up being a main - stay on any teams 2nd line but he's got versatility so he could play as a scorer and offensive guy on your 2nd line but hecould also be a defensive guy and do good on your checking line. So I'm not saying he's a perfect version of Hartnell, I just think he deserves more credit tha you give him.

Krajiceks not that good. bottom pairing guy in my opinion. He just doesn't have it
