does anyone know when these preseason tickets will go on sale?

Who in their right mind would spend money on a meaningless preseason game? besides the Spectrum game, just wait and use your money on regular season game.

If you like hockey that much that you want to go to a pre-season game then you should have season tickets or at least partial ticket pass, you will get more value out of your money that way.

Bingo. To get all excited about when preseson ticket go on sale is nuts. Your paying the same price as regular season. Save your cash for a regular season game.

Agreed. Besides the Spectrum game, save your money and purchase a regular season game. The price for pre-season and regular season tickets are the same. If you are looking to go to a pre-season game, look on StubHub or Ebay. People will be selling them online for about half of the face value. You will probably find good lower level seats around $30-$40/ticket.

Last year I sold my pre-season tickets in the cheap seats on eBay. Face value for 2 tickets was $48.50, they sold for $18.00.

Why Carolina? Why not the rags or devils at the spectrum?

Preseason does blow but The Spectrum game is a very cool idea and i'm really tempted to go to it just so I can see the Flyers there one more time...but after you've been to the WAC so many times over the years lol the spectrum is just awful...I hate the seats there but may be willing to give in for one last game even if it is NHL Preseason

im gonna have to disagree about preseason "blowing". it blows that the tickets cost the same as regular season, but last preseason was awesome w/ cote and boulerice battling for the enforcer job and smith showing what it takes to be a captain.

Just as an FYI for any STH's out there. I called the Flyers customer service and asked if the Spectrum game is included in the STH preseason games. The rep said it IS included. I'm sure a special seating arrangement will have to be figured out for STH's since the seating is different at the Spectrum. I can't imagine having the same exact seat in the Spectrum as I do at the Wac.

Maybe they will wear Whalers jerseys!!!

you're right, preseason hockey blows. I have one memory in the spectrum. My dad took me to see a flyers-rangers playoff game there. may 14th 1995. I was 8 yrs old. I remember the flyers winning the game 5-4 in OT. still one of my favorite hockey memories. I'd like to add one more Spectrum memory so i was curious when these tickets go on sale. sorry for not explaining myself before posting my question.
